If you’re like most people, you use Outlook 2007 to manage your email. But there are a few things you can do to make your email experience even better.

  1. Use the “Zoom In” feature to see all of your email in one place. This makes it easier to find and reply to emails.
  2. Use the “Zoom Out” feature to see only some of your email. This makes it easier to read and reply to emails that are large or have many attachments.
  3. Use the “Delete All Emails” button on the left side of the Outlook 2007 toolbar to delete all of your email, including any that you’ve already replied to or sent off-line.

Open Outlook and start a new mail message.  Make sure the cursor is in the body of the email so you can access the Format Text tab.  From there click on the Zoom button.

This opens the Zoom dialog box where you can choose the percent of increase the size of the text.

As you can see above there is a preview window, but the best way to judge the size is to use it in an actual message.

The easiest way I have found to zoom in on email while your reading them is to add the zoom icon to the Quick Access Toolbar and follow the steps above.
