If you’re looking for a tablet that can handle all your online needs, the Amazon Fire is a great option. However, if you’re looking to remove any Amazon Fire tablet recommendations from your device, there are a few steps you can take. First, open the Settings app and scroll down to the bottom of the screen. There, you’ll find a list of devices under “Personalization.” Under this section, you’ll find a list of “Amazon Fire tablets.” If any of these tablets are listed as being recommended by Amazon, then it’s likely that they will be useful for your needs. However, if none of the Amazon Fire tablets are listed as being recommended by Amazon, then it’s likely that they will not be useful for your needs. To remove any Amazon Fire tablet recommendations from your device, simply follow these steps:
- Scroll down to the bottom of the Personalization screen and select “Remove all devices.” This will remove all devices from your device that are listed as being recommended by Amazon.
- Select “Amazon Fire tablets” and click on “Remove.” This will remove all recommendations for the Amazon Fire tablets from your device.
By default, Fire Tablets have a row at the top of the “Home” tab for recommendations. “Continue” lists your recently-used apps, while “Discover” is essentially ads content and apps you may like. We can turn off both of these or keep “Continue.”
First, open the “Settings” from the home screen.
Next, go the “Apps & Notifications.”
Finally, go to “Home Screens.”
There are two toggles on this screen. Turning off “Recommendations” will remove the “Discover” section, but leave “Continue.” Alternatively, you can turn off both “Continue and Discover Row.”
Here’s what the home screen looks like with only “Continue” or both turned off.
